Non-Surgical Facelift

“A smile is a facelift that is in everyone’s price range”

-Tom Wilson

Overview

A Surgical Facelift is an invasive procedure that is meant to lift sagging skin, correct deep wrinkles, andreverse various signs of aging. This is an aggressive procedure and has a long downtime.

Many people long for the results achieved by surgical facelift but are not willing to go under the knife. This could be because of the worry of surgical complications, or the inability to afford the cost or the downtime that follows the procedure. That’s why non-surgical string facelifts have become an easier, more favorable option.

Who is a Good Candidate for a non-surgical facelift?

  • Those who need a mild to moderate facelift
  • Those who are afraid of undergoing anesthesia or surgery
  • Those with heart of respiratory problems who cannot tolerate surgery
  • Those who are on blood thinners or other medications which deems them not good surgical candidates.
  • Those who can’t afford the downtime

What are the types of a non-surgical facelift?

Profound. Profound Facelift works by helping the skin to rebuild collagen and elastin. As it heats the skin to an exact temperature and depth for an exact amount of time, it allows precise energy delivery to the deeper skin tissue. The advantage of this procedure is that it has long-term effects. This is a one-time procedure with results starting to show as early as 2 months and continue to improve for up to a year. The face you get after this procedure has no expiration date on it! This means that the effects of this procedure don’t go away in a year or two, but rather the results become the new starting point from which you start your aging again.

The Profound Facelift is one of our most requested procedures where a single treatment can achieve up to 75% of surgical facelift results.

PDO threads. PDO threads are dissolvable threads that are inserted underneath the skin in a specific plane to achieve tighter, less wrinkled or saggy skin. It’s most beneficial for people with mild to moderate signs of aging that are not ready for plastic surgery. Some of the results are immediate, resulting in an instant lift, while others are slower in action, taking 4-6 weeks while building collagen and enhancing the secretion of hyaluronic acid. This is NOT a good option for people who have significant laxity or thin skin as the thread can cause puckering, indents, or the thread might stay noticeable under the skin.

Fillers. Also called Liquid Facelift, usually used in combination with neuromodulators. At Chrysolite Aesthetics, we refer to some of our fillers as “Lifters” because we believe that although these products fill areas of volume loss, in doing so, they lift this area and the areas around it to achieve a more youthful look. These fillers are mostly hyaluronic acid fillers that can be artistically placed to achieve instant satisfactory results.

Plasma (PRP). Plasma usage provides volume and results in the mild facelift. It’s commonly combined with Fillers to achieve more drastic results in what is known as the Vampire Facelift!.

How Long does Non-Surgical Facelift take and how long it lasts?

Usually profound takes 1-2 hours to complete including the numbing time, and results are semi-permanent. Fillers, PDO and Plasma take 20-30 minutes to numb and similar time for the procedure. Results last 1-2 years.

What is the Expected Downtime after these procedures?

It is the most aggressive procedure among these with a downtime ranging from 1-2 weeks. Yet, this is a very reasonable time when compared to the downtime of surgical facelift procedures which is averaging around 2 months!.

PDO and fillers can result in minor swelling or bruising, but in general, clients can get back to daily activities the same day!
